Traveling to Costa Rica for a study abroad pharmacy rotation was a new opportunity where I took full advantage of learning and exploring.
Standing at the foot of La Fortuna, a 75 meter (248 feet) waterfall, in Alajuela to seeing the breathtaking sunset of Jaco.
this was just a part of that adventure
In 2020, I had the opportunity to complete a four week pharmacy rotation abroad in Costa Rica.
My weekdays were spent, commuting from Heredia to San Jose where I was completing a rotation at Hospital Clinica Biblica. During our time there, we learned pharmacy roles from the perspective of another country. With different access to resources, we shared our experiences from work, and previous rotations, with the students and pharmacists.
During our off hours and weekends, we explored the city of San Jose and traveled to local beach towns and cities.
